OLA, were do you get livestock/corales in MEXICO city?? I could never find a store there when I go.
my wife is from POSA RICA VERACRUS and live in DISTRICT FEDERALY for years. her brother is from PUEBLA so we travel there lots.
what about RO/DI water? will you be using that?

Hello John... here in Mexico City or Federal District there are some aquariums where you can get livestock... I can offer you that if you come to Mexico City and if you want to get some corals/livestock I could help you to go to this places...
About RO/DI in my own case, I have an spectraPure 4 steps 90gal/day so I dont worry about that.. I'll fill all the system with this excellent/pure/best water quality.. I dont want algae troubbles at the beggining..

Sorry, no updates by now... Im really busy, I have not enough time to continue with the tank for the next 2 weeks, and this weekend I'll make a business trip.. so I think and hope start to fill the tank with RO/DI water in at the middle of Nov.. add salt and get the LR at the end of Nov... or before if possible...
About LR Im gonna import it from USA.. you know... Liverock at first hand, premium quality... not the LR that we received from the mexican importers...
Im waiting for the skimmer to be delivered at home (Vertex Alpha Cone 200)... and I'll build a new sump that let me keep the most quantity of water, live rock, refugium and skimmer inside...
