Clean water...I don't think Bill Gates even drinks that clean of water. LOL :)

But my Reef will :D

Why so little reactor media? lol. Steve, you try the Deltec Salt? I know there was a group buy for the socal guys recently.

Steve-

Looking amazing bud! I thought Brian at FR was pulling my leg when he told me about the skimmer you were having made!!! You are going to be able to pack your fish in fin to fin!!

Curios to hear more about your plans for the cryptic zone. Also do you have plans to seed your rock?? The few tanks that I have observed using 100% dead rock took a LOOOOOONNNNGGGG time to get going/stable.

Finally what size Tropic Eden media did you get? The photo I saw of the big stuff looked pretty decent size. I have been having trouble finding large size media as of late. Suspect it is from the crackdown that happened a few months back. I have been trying to stock up ever since but all the large size media has been coming in pretty small and lots of shells!

Erik

PS: Good thing you held your cool with that thug...if he is crazy enough to jack people in their own garage, who knows what else he is capable of. He will get his one of these days... you live another day to reef!

try the Gen-X Coral Bones. This media can take 6.0 pH without melting and provides and incredible array of elements.IMO, the best you can get.

I have heard that nowadays even this media has shrunk significantly. Have you purchased recently??

Looks the same to me, but I buy from Custom so you never know how much they have on hand.

Erik, i will use the center compartment of my sump as cryptic zone. I will have approx 200lbs of LR in it and keep it as dark as possible.

As for the sand, i got the Reef flakes which is the largest one 3mm-5mm grain. I am very happy with the sand due to the fact it is super clean and the size...

Your wish is my command Sir... :D

Here is the U.V sterilizer for my RODI unit. BTW, it look very neat and clip right on to the RO membrane. I will use the ATO to control U.V so it doesn't have to be on 24/7
