Nice video Steve. Glad to see it finally full of water. I hope to have some H20 in mine later this year.

Yep! No reason to rush in this economy! Come over here to Detroit and you can feel it big time. Plus, I'm very busy with work and my little guy. He's definitely a cute kid. Brings a smile to my face every day. I keep telling my wife that he'll love the reef tank once it has water and fish. For now, he likes watching the Koi in our pond. I'll get it going soon enough. For now, I just have fun watching and learning from you.![]()

I hope we have lighting expert here. My high speed Sfiligoi fixture come with a socket that won't fit Ushio bulb or any other bulb. According the Alessandro the one who build this fixture claim that is the E-40 socket which is 40mm while the bulb is E-39 which is 39mm. Please take a look at the picture and let me know if you see something that i don't.
Here is the socket... It is 40mm on top but it get smaller inside where the thread is...

AO has tried to fix their mess more than a few times from what I read around. I'm surprise AO is still doing representing them !!
I'm usually a pretty cool and patience guy but this Sfiligoi issue thingy is really getting into me as time and time again they do this b**sh*t
Odd that Ushio bulbs will be the issue where no other fixture in the world has an issue with Ushio bulbs
Go figures.....![]()

I will have Ushio expert identify the mogul socket and let me know the size. Sfiligoi ask if i can get another socket that will work with the bulb in America? I can get another socket for $5.99 but i have to get rid of Sfiligoi Ceramic housing as well as the socket. Which mean i paid $1299 for just the reflector....

Hmmm so it seems....

You paid $1300 per reflector?
