Steve, I'm just curious why you added more fish when less than two weeks ago you were losing fish due to ich. I understand the urge to add more fish, but an ich cycle is a little longer than 10 days and I am a bit puzzled why. Sorry to hear about you having to leave. when is your deployment?

It is a sickness bro...:D. I ordered the pair of crosshatch prior to the ich incident. The fish arrived at my friend LFS and been in the QT for almost 6weeks. I wasn't going to pick them up till the ich went away but he need room for other fish so i have to take him home. I was nervous that the trigger won't make it but they have been in the tank for couple weeks now without any issue plus both eat like a pig. They eat 1 sheet of krill weekly :(. I understand exactly what you mean about the ich issue. But i can't just leave the fish at my friend store and take 2 of his tanks. I am glad they both healthy.

As for my deployment, i am really excite about it. Because it is something i have been waiting for almost 3yrs. I should come home to a fully mature tank if my maintenance guy didn't screw up.

Is Dan going to stop buy your place?

Scratches? What?
I know several people that had to pull their triggers out of acrylic tanks due to this reason, most notably Brad, Untamed12 here on RC.

Austin, the Triggers has stop putting scratches onto my panels. I keep them well fed and no stress so they are not rubbing anymore. It has been a week without any incident.. :D

If it was up to me, I'd be there in a second. But my wife would leave me and take the kids. No stop it, I can't go.

Your tank and Tim's tank are the two tanks i really want to see in this hobby... I will be in San Bruno in the next couple weeks for training. If i have the time, i will heading up that way.

How is the Joc doing?

Dave, nothing special about my tank except for it size and the highest level of PO4.... :D

Your tank looks awesome! But why is your PO4 high? Zeovit + Huge commercial skimmer I would think it would be very low.

Dead rock, dead sand and a bunch of Dead fish = High PO4 :D

Where did you brought the sand and rocks?

Had the good pleasure of visiting Steve over the 4th of July weekend and I have to say I was truly impressed! Not just with the tank and all but just getting to meet Steve and his family was a real treat. My wife and family really enjoyed visiting with you all very much.

Of course you know you're more than welcome out our way any time, we'd love to have you! :D

So, anyway... what's going on, any updates?
