Steve's 480g upgrade 730g total Zeovit system

Steve, sorry I got back to you late yesterday. My wife was dragging me around anyway, glad that you got the brace on. I'll be around for most of the day so let me know if you need any help.

Nice brace repair. I am sure you'll rest easier knowing that the tank isn't going to have the same problem in the future when you're not around to take care of it.

The tank is looking great as well - love the photos!

Thank you Ed. I feel much better now knowing that my tank will not have any more problem with bowing..

Dan, no problem bro. It is not hard to install the brace. If i remember correctly you are very busy on Saturday....:d:

The brace actually does look good on the tank. I guess you feel a lot more secure now :)
I think I missed it before, but maybe you can tell me again, why did you remove the sand? (does look good btw)

Steve-

Thanks again for having us over your house last weekend to see your tank. I can't stop bragging about it to the guys back home. Its simply an amazing setup you have and I am definitely envious. For all those reading this thread, Steves photos are pretty darn good but do little justice to what you experience in person. His skimmer and reactor alone are a marvel! Everything about this tank is over the top!

No doubt your corals will recover soon Steve! Just remember...it could have been way worse ;)

+1 to everything said, the tank and setup are top notch all the way!!! And Steve's a pretty good guy too, lol!~

Sorry, already found why :) Do you notice any changes in corals, parameters etc. after taking the sand out?

Leonardo

Leo, nothing change in my tank after removing the same except it looks cleaner and lesser maintenance. My corals seem to be happier too. I only have the SSB so it doesn't do much when it come to parameter i think

Eric, thank you for the kind word. My system still need a lot of work to fine tuning to make it more stable. I agree most of my equipment are oversize because i always think about the next large tank :D.

It was great meeting you and the family. Unfortunately the corals didn't look good at the time but it will get better.

Dave, that sounds very iffy bro . I just got home and realize that i need to clean the tank but i am too tire to do anything. My lower back is killing me. Too much hiking, too much moving around with pack on my back.... I am getting old :(
