Kar, i live in southern California, the new home is in Denver Colorado. I ext my order to stay in California a little longer waiting for my new baby arrive then will move to Colorado. I will depart at the end of Aug, the wife and our new baby will come over at the end of Sept. It is quite a bit of distance from Socal to Denver.

Ah, I was going to suggest that you could get the tank over and cycling in May and then if it was close you could go every day to check on it but now thats not sounding like a good idea.

Really? Does your wife know how to take car of the tank for when you are away or do you have friends that can do that kind of stuff?

She know how to feed the fish, dose the zeovit. I need to teach her how to mix the salt and do water change but i don't think it is a good idea because we will have the little one :D

6 months and some change.... :D

Congrats' on the Jr. coming along..... trust me, it will change your life...but for the better.... :p

I am not sure how wonderful it is to have the Jr because this is my first. One thing i know for sure that I wont be able to purchase anything for the reef tank in the next two years :(

Your mindset will change once you see your baby :)

Terry, sound like you have the experience.... Is it something you know for sure or you HEARD from someone else :D

You will know a love for your child like you have never known.
You won't get a lot of sleep for a year...but you'll be happy. :)

haha, just hear it ;) and see it from my buds. Can't get them to go out anymore!

I have not go out for almost 6yrs so that won't change much. I don't see why i need to go out when i can have all the fun at home with my reef tank (When i used to have one) and Reef Central. :D

hehehe Sean, i don't sleep much anyway. I hope she doesn't cry much :D

Your baby will serve dual purpose. You can feed your baby/change diapers in the middle of the night, and then check on your reef :)

i bet you will be absolutely nakered when the Jr. Comes so we might not see you as much because you wont be on RC you'll be catching up on sleep
