Still having fun...300 gallon in wall reef

Last month I took down my 390 reef tank. All of the rock, coral, fish, crabs, snails, and shrimp went into a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank in the gameroom.

The Rubbermaid Reef.

I bought an I-tech cone skimmer for the Rubbermaid Reef that will also be used on the 300 when it's ready.

In the early days of the 390, while trying to "tune" my dual beckett skimmer, I walked off to answer the doorbell and got distracted. The results was about 45 gallons of saltwater on the floor. I cut the carpet around the stand and tiled the gameroom floor. So the first order of business was to finish the tile job.
This pic is after I chiseled up the pieces that were cut to fit around the stand.

The beginning of the wall. The bottom section is not attached to allow for installation of the stand. The wall will be 8' high allowing a 2' opening at the top. There will be two 75 cfm ventilation fans in the bottom of the wall to provide adequate fresh dry air to the "fish room".

Here's the stand behind the finished framing. The stand is 1.5" x 3" steel painted black. It was made by Jeff at JR Fabrications in Land O' Lakes, Florida. Jeff has been making metal stands for several years and does very high quality work.

The tank in the back of my truck. It's a Marineland Marine Series 300 gallon. Measurements are 72x36x27. It has Starphire front glass.

I'm going to use the Silent and Failsafe Overflow System by Bean Animal on each end of the tank.
I got the tank from John at Fish And Other Ichthy Stuff in Oldsmar Florida. He's having 2 overflow boxes made. They will be made of blue acrylic and look like this.

I'm going to shorten it from 8' to 6' and use it on the 300.

The stand is painted black. It's sitting on a pedestal made of 2x4 framing and cross braces with 3/4" pressure treated plywood on the bottom and 3/4" plywood on top. Since the stand could be a maximum of 35.5" tall and still come through the door, I had to make that to get the stand high enough.

I really like your overflow design! You gonna use the whole 1000lbs of sand?
