Sting ray?

The Hurricane

Would you put a sting ray in a 5' x 2.5' reef. The guy that delivered my new tank mentioned it but I'm not sure. I was planning on a reef and some other fish but I've always wanted a ray. Obviously it would have a small reef/rock work in the display. Is this enough room for a 1' adult ray? Thanks.

the smallest tank for a ray would be 150g but i doubt even that would be big enough. by all accounts, they take an expert so i'd definitely pass on it.

With such a fish I wouldn't go by gallon rating but rather square footage of sand zone.

I would say a tank footprint of 10 x 5 sqft should be the minimum. Eventual rock structures should be minimal and not create traps.
