Hi,

I just created my stock idea. Any advice?

x1 Kole Tang
x1 Yellow Tang
x2 Ocellaris Clownfish (*maybe)
x1 Kauderns Cardinal
x2 Dwarf Angelfish
x2 Dottyback
x2 Watchman Goby
x2 Green Mandarin (once established)
x1 Blue/Green Reef Chromis
x1 Firefish
x1 Blue Sapphire Damselfish

Can I also have 3x Blue/Green Reef Chromis to school? Or what are the best fishes to school for my tank?

Thanks

I would probably do 1 tang, no dottyback. They could pick on fire fish or similar shaped fish. You can do more than 1 chromis, but they dont have a good success rate either. 1 mandarin as well. I would add a blenny or hawkfish to the mix, possibly some wrasse

^^ Agree; also know that the Dwarf Angels may nip at corals. Mandarins need a TON of pods in order to survive, so I would only house 2 in a very large system.

Here's also a few things to consider:
The order that you add the fish is also very important. You will want to add the most peaceful fish first and the most aggressive last. This will give the most shy fish a chance to get established first.

For example, the firefish can be timid at first. So it may be good to add them earlier than later.

Also, some need to be added after you tank has been established for awhile. For example, tangs and dwarf angelfish eat algae and constantly nip at the rocks. I've seen many successfully add them early but I personally would wait a while before adding them. As already noted, mandarins need a well established tank (at least 6 months but, I would wait even longer).
