Stocking List Critique Please

After much research, here is my proposed stocking list for the 180g mixed reef. List is in chronological order:

Blood Shrimp (2)
Peppermint Shrimp (2)
Occellaris Clown (2)
Purple Firefish (2)
Yellow Watchman Goby
Randalls Goby
Double Barred Rabbitfish
Chocolate Tang
Powder Brown Tang
Atlantic Blue Tang
Naso Tang
Purple Tang

Thoughts on compatibility and stocking order? Thanks so much.

Looks good, except I'd skip the Naso and possibly the rabbit as 180 is still a little small for them, IMO. Adding the tangs toward the end will help with aggression and keeping them from becoming too territorial early on.

The tank is too small for a Naso and those are some pretty aggressive Tangs going into that tank. I would probably only do 2 off that list excluding the Naso.

I agree the naso should come off the list.

I think the rabbit is ok.

That's sill a lot of big, waste producing fish. In a reef you may see some nutrient issues. Get a big sump and a good skimmer. I would probably choose either the powder brown or the chocolate, getting you down to 3 tangs and a rabbit. That would help with bioload and compatibility.

What about changing the rabbit for a foxface and dropping the naso and purple tangs?

Would that be more amenable for bio load?

The rabbit and foxfaces are interchangeable. Do what you want here.

I like that you are dropping to 3 tangs instead of 5. In this recent suggestion though, you will have 3 Acanthurus tangs. That may cause some compatibility issues. I guess ideally, for 3 tangs in a 180 I would do something like: kole, purple, powder brown in that order. Just a suggestion.

I agree, the Powder Blue will not get along with the Atlantic Blue because both are from the same species and the Atlantic changes to blue as it matures (same color). Second, the Chocolate Mimic will not get along with the Atlantic Blue because both of them are from the same species and both are yellow at the juvenile stages. Powder Blue and Mimic Tang may or may not get along with each other. You will be taking a chance with them. It may work, but IMO the only way it will is to get them young and put them in at the same time. Purple is fine and I would pick one from the Powder blue, Atlantic, and the Mimic.
