Strange mag holder Q...........

Checked here, checked the web site couldn't find the answer.

How thick is the mounting mag? Specifically the 6080.50 (for a 6000). I plan on mounting the unit to my overflow & I don't have a ton of room inside (it's plenty strong - 1/2" thick).

They are about 5/8" thick, both sizes are identical, they only differ on the number of magnets inside.
