Ok, it's not stupid, but he's driving me nuts. I've had my Maxima clam for just over a month now. He opens up nicely and looks like he'll be very colorful when he matures. I placed him high in my tank so he get's plenty of light, I also made sure to keep flow to a minimum. He'll usually drop anchor within 5-10 min. of being placed and he'll stay for a few days. Well yesterday, I got to re-aquascape my tank for the third time since I've had him. He likes to move occasionally and he'll end up falling down behind my rock work. My tank is 30in. deep, so it's a real PITA to move all my rocks around, so I can get ahold of him with my tongs. All the while, my Maroon Clown is beating the hell out of my fingers (she actually drew blood for the first time). I'm almost willing to drape some wedding veil along the back of my tank as a safety net, just to save myself the aggravation of digging him out again. Sorry to rant, but I had to vent.
Anyone else ever experience this, or am I unique?
