Gary,
remember last year my hippos would constantly pick on my brain coral ( had to trade that out to kat ) anyhow then we went and got that beautiful blue clam ( sigh) ughh no matter where I put it, how many different scapes to try and hide it,they sought it out. I even went as far as building an acrylic cage because they say leave the cage for 2 weeks and the fish won't bother with it anymore! YEAH RIGHT haha anyhow the night the cage came off I woke to a dead tore up clam but funny thing is they never touched frog, hammer, gorg, ect .... so odd.
I'm inclined to believe that powder blues are coral nippers. I had one that eradicated all my xenia. I probably could have made good money renting him out.
I am a fish person so my opinion is biased. I think few things you can put in an aquarium have the pastel blue tone that a PB has, so my vote goes for the fish.
