You just need to watch the fish closely, I keep 5 gallons of ro right next to the tank so it is the same temp. My Naso was in the whole 5 with no problem, but the firefish only lasted 3 and I had to move them.

how did you know to take the fires out sooner? any signs you saw? thanks

Tanks! We are really looking forward to watching the corals grow and fill in.

How is the hypo going?

Thanks for asking bud. So far all seems good. The ammonia badge is good and all of the fish are feeding. No signs of labored breathing or stress, that I can see.

I have some decisions to make now. Was thinking of maybe going with some higher end wrasses like labout, golden rhomboid, flame, etc... along with the tangs. I would then have to rehome several of the fish currently in qt.

I have a few weeks to decide. Not sure I'll get this chance again for a very long time.

How is the decision coming on the new tank?

Just posted a thread to gauge interest.

So far, so good. Everyone is eating and behaving normally. Although I do not see spots on the two tangs, they do appear to have some subcutaneous bumps.

Have been considering busing prazi-pro as one fish is looking a bit thin even though he is eating well.

Should I wait until the hypo period is over?

I just started a prazipro treatment last night. My trigger had been looking emaciated even though he eats well. Keeping my fingers crossed.

It's your thread that inspired me to do it.

Any effects on the tank so far?

Fortunately no ill effects thus far on any fish or corals. Everyone is still eating and acting normal. Hopefully i dont have any suprises. Thomas is coming by my place sunday to film the tank for "tank wars", lol.

Hey Stylo, just sharing my experience, I trained my Achilles aka "Michael Phelps" to eat EVERYTHING by placing the non-preferred food between nori sheets (green, purple, and red nori) on a piece of rock.. He eventually ate mysis, brine. NLS pellets, flakes, etc.

BTW, awesome build! :)

Thanks Arnel. I will definitely give that a try.

Thanks for the compliment as well.
