suggestions for a new 96x36x24

I am in the planning stages for a 96x36x24 mixed reef. I have two 6105's and two 6055's from my last tank (72x36x28) and I am trying to figure out if I should just add two more 6105's or sell what I have and go with the new 6255's. The glass on the new tank is 3/4" and I would like to keep the powerhead clutter to a minimum so if I do go with the 6255's how many should I get?

In my opinion it is always preferable to have 4 pumps on a big tank in case one were to fail and need service. You could go with 2 6255 but I would keep one 6105 as a back up. 4 6105 with magnet extensions 6205.501 would also work.

As you already know, I'm going with the exact same dimensions... I already had (2) 6105's with the upgraded magnets for the thicker glass and I was going to sell them and buy (2) 6255's. Eventually, I decided to keep the 6105's and get the 6255's. It's probably a little over kill but at least won't have to worry about flow.

I'm going to put the 6255's in the back corners pointing diagonal to just before the opposite front corner. The 6105's 1.5' to 2' in from each corner using the wide flow cover and point them to a similar point. I'm going to control them with my Apex.
