Summer cleaning in wrasse land.

Thanks Ryan. I've been watching your thread and your tank is beyond incredible.
If you ever have to come back to SLC for more training. Make sure you get ahold of me.

Thanks Buddy.

Unfortunatly, my department has gone with a different type of training to save money so we wont be there for work anymore... But i'll definitly give you a shout if im in the area!

I like your tank very much. What kinds of wrasses do you have? I like wrasses and would like to have a tank full as well. Do many differant kinds get along as far as type / male and female? DO you quaratine and use cupermine on wrasses?

Mostly fairy wrasses and as long as you dont have 2 big males of the same species, they usually get along. There are some more aggressive than others, but for the most part, if you have a larger tank they do fine.
As far as QT, I don't. I know I should, but the stress on these guys are make or break. I use an acclimation box to cause as little stress on them as possible.
Let me add, You MUST have a cover over your tank to keep them. No holes over a 1/4 of an inch, or they will find it and go through it. Plain and simple. Some say they don't need a cover. Until they find it dead on the floor and its too late.

For the most part, yes they all get along. And thank you.
I'm not sure which angel you are asking about, I have 7 in there. They do nip a bit on the acros, and I cant keep a couple of LPS species, but they leave my softies completely alone.

Goes to show what 4 years will do. I still cant believe it's been over 4 years. Time flies by.

Brad, I was wondering what you have for wrasses now. Do you have a fish list by chance? I'm only up to 10 in my 215 so there is room for at least a couple more.

As you can tell, I haven't had much to do this morning so I took a couple of top-down shots.
