Good morning, as you can see two polyps of my sunflower zoas seems "burned"??? I don't know what happened, I just saw it this morning. My water parameters are Ph 8.4, NO3 and PO4 are undetectable, Alk 13, CA 500. All measured using API test kits. Is it a disease? Thank you..

I don't think a diseae, but possibly a change in coloration secondary to a change in lighting.

Doesn't look diseased to me either. Alk 13 and Ca 500 is a bit high. Could be an adjustment to water and lighting if they haven't been in the tank long.

I'm using an ATM 20000K 150 watts double ended Metal Hallide. The zoa's been in the tank around 4 to 5 months more or less, started with just 3 polyps. I'm using teco reef salt. My tanks water volume is around 110 gals more or less, running a bio pellet reactor, dosing 55ml of alk, 40ml of vinegar, 5ml of vit c (syrup for kids). Do you guys think it might be the alk?
