SunSpect LED's

So I'm taking a bit of a gamble on some "Chinese" LED's. They should be arriving either today or tomorrow. The brand is SunSpect, everything I've been reading seems like they should be great. Let me know what's you guys think and I'll be sure to post updates often.

They will work just fine while they are new, it's a crap shoot as to how they do over a year or two. I've never heard of this brand and I don't know who makes them for them. If you are lucky they were made by EverGrow and you'll be getting decent quality. Many others have issues like these.

The light they put out will be fine... even long term if the other components hold up.

What is the case made of and coated with? Some are steel and painted (weak) and some or aluminum and powder coated (much better)

Are the screws stainless steel or not? You'll know pretty quickly if they aren't. And even some that are stainless are cheap and still rust up in a year or two. And some look like new even after 30 months.

Fans are a place some Chinese outfits cheap out on. They may be noisy, or get noisy over time. But they are cheap to replace.

Heat sinks are another area they cheap out on. Does it have just a flat sheet of aluminum (weak) or a real finned aluminum heat sink (much better).

Driver life and dimmer knob life are also suspect in some cheaper Chinese brands.

I've owned both the cheap and the better quality and seen some cheap stuff rust and rot away right before my eyes in a year. And I have others that look and run like new after 30+ months of running 24/7.

I have three of those and they used to be sold as "AquaStar" by topledseller on eBay.

Fans are dead quiet.
1 of the 3 units I got ended up having a real heat sink in it.
I swapped out some diodes to get the color I wanted out of them (too much cold white for my tastes).

Zero issues thus far.

Thanks for the input guys I'm very excited to see how they work. I'll be sure took at pictures and give more details on them once I get home and have a little time to play with them. My big question is what precent should i run them at?
