super onyx or black ocellaris....???

I don't think I have seen a hybrid...does anyone have any pics they can post of that?

I have two clowns that I thought were black occs, and maybe now they are not. I can't get a good pic of them as of yet, but they are all black, with the obvious striping, and a hint of orange on their chins.

These are Onyx True Perc X Black Occy hybreds. These are from Sanjay they call em Black Photons or something now..

I suspect I have a hybrid too, but I have no confirmation.

He looked like this when I got him.

I suppose the question is now what constitutes a hybrid (if you don't know the parents)? Or maybe a better question would be, how would you know you have a hybrid if you do not know the parents of the clown?

Don't know if this will help?, just passing on information:"Generally, Ocellaris clowns have 11 dorsal spines while Perculas have just 9 or 10, but this is not always true. Ocellaris Clownfish commonly have 17 pectoral rays while Perculas usually have 16, but they can range from 16 to 18 on Ocellaris Clowns and from 15 to 17 on Perculas. According to Fautin & Allen, the anterior part of the dorsal fin ray is taller on Ocellaris than on Percula, but the difference is scant" (Joyce D. Wilkerson 1997).
