Swollen Gill (Clown Fish)

My female Ocellaris clown fish which I have had for 3 yrs with no problems has suddenly developed swelling on one of her gills. She eats fine, moves fine and continues to lay eggs every 2 weeks as if nothing is wrong. I have not had any parasite problems for years now and have not added a new fish in like 2 yrs. What could the cause be? Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Is the gill stuck in an open position? Is she breathing rapidly? Just wait and see before treating with medication. May clear up on it's own.

The gill seems to be in an open position ever so slightly. So it looks like she has some tobacco tucked away on one side. Any thoughts from anyone is greatly appreciated.

Regards.
