SWSW sales?

What magic loop are you all apart of that supplies all this wonderful info. Not to be nosey, just feel a little left out.

This is an interesting thread. Is there a reason the location is not given out? I followed with interest on the Phoenix forum when Reef Culture was opening up. Man... they even had pictures of inside the store before it opened! Location was given for those who didn’t know where they located and lots of updates for the grand opening. Hummm is this a board restriction? I'm beginning to wonder if this store really exists!

If you look, someone said the location already...

I just don't want to ruin the owners' bragging rights when they go official. They said they will when RC lets them. I think they are trying to become sponsors of RC.

How would you like it if everyone already knew everything about your big project when you finally went public? "Yeah...Yeah, I heard it already..."

Exactly. It's not my store, so it's not my job to tell everyone the details.

regardless of the new store, I'll still shop at SWA. I think it's good and healthy for our hobby to have several competing stores (as long as they "compete" and don't arbitrarily charge... oh, say, $48 for a $20 fish).

I was at the new one today and it's looking great. I'm excited for it for sure. Right afterwards though I went and bought some stuff from SWA. I want to support both as long as the prices are good.

Dan is a nice guy and seems genuinely interested in learning more about the hobby, I'm happy to help him do that with whatever I research and find out, since in the end it benefits us all. I for one hope that both stores get good business and are legitimate competitors. It's not like Phoenix only has ONE good reef store, right?

I appoligize for not understanding the situation. Its cool, good news though.

+1 Forrest. The more healthy shops the better.

Saying that - I'm very excited about the new place. My husband and I went for a walk and found the new place. It is about a block from our house. Woo Hoo! Can't wait 'till July...:celeb1:

Now thats really not fair at all.:lmao::lmao::lmao:
Probably for the best though, I would be broke.

It would be nice to have a dozen successful great SW stores here, but as my wife says, "This is Tucson." Having one great ANYTHING seems to be a bonus here!

There's no reason a metro area as large as Tucson shouldn't have a decent salt store. If any of them were brave enough to venture into online sales, then they would probably do better. I'm just waiting for a place that supports hobbyist aquaculture so I don't have to ship all the time.

I support your aquaculture.
