SYED's 200G Rimless Reef

Wow.... something new came.....:hmm2:....

I am really surprised. Is someone got success with LED. I mean good growth with vivid colors.......:fun5:

Many success stories with leds! Dont be afraid of them.I think that all this discussion about if they are capable or not is fed by the companies that were left behind having no led fixtures and they wanted to catch up.

leds are easy to DIY cheap efficient and effective and are the present and future IMHO:thumbsup:

I am not DIY person specially in Electrical work.... I am interested in Maxspact Mazarra PMZ-PO1.

Let see if some one else recommend this LEDs as well.

Seyd - have you started with your tank build or still?

Man..... actually I want to start it in Ramazan InshAllah..... before that I want to draw every thing including every thing about this built. I don't want to repeat mistakes I have done in my previous build.... so planning and planning and planning before it goes to actual built......

Inshallah – take your time bro……just curious regarding your design and have some questions or observations or maybe I just missed something in your thread.

*

Quarantine tank – it will actually be useless if you connect it with the main tank and I’m sure you know that, since you won’t be able to dose any medication having copper, so might as well make use of it and make it as refugium and have some chaeto & mangroves growing there and use it as quarantine tank at the same time – ideal, is to just disconnect it or have it somewhere else other than under the tank if you don’t have the space for it.

*

Have you considered a ZeoVit tank method – since you don’t want to use a Cal & Kal stirrer

*

In your diagram – how is the quarantine & frag tank will be suspended over the reservoir; how are you going to support them.

in cause of Medication or any other treatment it will be totally isolated with separate protein skimmer and filtration system.... InshaAllah you will see when the time will come. see me old thread for more detailed information, I had the same thing. In normal cause it will run through with whole system, with main skimmer and main filtration system.

After cause of Medication usage, it will be washed with fresh water and will be replaced and will run through whole system to get ready for any new live stock..

Sorry i do not under stand, what do you mean by ZeoVit method, of course in this method calcium reactor and Kalk reactors are part of it.

Actually i keep ph higher by other sources...you will see. so I do not need addition of Kalk to boost ph... for calcium and carbonate, I will use Randy two part.

with 12mm tampered glass base..... stay tuned...... you will be surprise to see how It will go......
