T-5 bulb question

Hey all,

I'm looking to change my AquaMedic 36" T-5 bulbs but can't find any online store which carrys such bulbs. Anyone has any link where I can find them?

Or can I change them to other brands like Giesemann or UV?

Regarding Giesemann bulbs, Pure Actinic, Auablue Plus 11k and Actinic Plus, which one is the bluest?

ATI, Guesemann or UVL will all fit. The ATI blue plus is the bluest and brightest. Actinic Plus is the bluest Giesemann lamp. Aquablue is white with a hint of blue, actinic is violet.

Do you know why there's no more AquaMedic bulbs for sale? I've heard their facility in the States was burned down, is it true?

Yeah it did. I am not sure why they aren't marketing lamps other than they weren't very good. I think once you put good ones in you will be plesantly surprised.
