T5 Bulb Recommendation

Hello Everyone...I am going back to T5 with 6 x 48inch bulbs over a
48 x 24 x20 reef tank......

What bulbs do you recommend from front to back

front bulb = _________
2nd bulb = __________
3rd bulb = ____________
4th bulb = ____________
5th bulb = _______________
6th bulb = _______________

the fixture is an ACI and 3 x switched pairs.

The tank will be a mixture of SPS and LPS , I want colour and coral growth.

what temp color do you like? 20k? 16k? 14k? 10k?

kind of hard to make a recommendation if you don't know what color kelvin the OP likes.

Mark I like your suggestion best and 18K sounds perfect to me too...
I do like 20K Radion Halides so...18K in T5 should suffice....

I also like the way you spelt out the order you put them in....

I've tried Marks combo and I personally like what I'm running now a little better.

Actinic
Blue
Purple
Blue
Blue

The actinic just gives it that extra pop. With that said, I'll replace it with Blue Plus when RB is added.

between 16k and 20 k is what I want...although 20K is my favorite I would be ok down to 16k

Hi Bryan,

Are you saying that the actinic actually adds more pop then say another blue plus? Also...the list you gave are you placing your coral bulb in front of fixture front of tank?

Thanks for clarification. Also when you say BLUE do you mean BLUE PLUS?

Corals growing fine with that combo yes?

What spectrum overall would you say you are getting ballpark?

Whats the diff between BLUE and BLUE PLUS?

Responded to your Pm and answered some of the above in there.

Yes, blue=blue plus.

The ReefBrite acts in similar manor as the actinic in terms in "coral pop" and adding an extra blue plus puts off more par.

Coral growth is great, all acro tank for me.

I would say 18k spectrum, ballpark.
