t5 group buy anyone

I just used my backup t5 bulb as one of my older ones just burned out. Wondering if there might be enough people to entertain a group buy?

I need 4 bulbs total. (Geisman)

thanks element, that's at least 9 so far. I have to say, after having just replaced an actinic bulb after its past its due lifespan really makes the corals pop. I might try a different mix with a midday just to see if the coral growth rate increases.

just out of curiousity.. how long do t-5s normally last.. i found out but forgot..

My t-5 fixture has 14 bulbs.. all 36" each... will this cost me a fortune?

They say T5s can last as much as 14 months. I would test from around the 9-10 month mark with a par meter if you're concerned.

How does everyone feel about UVL bulbs? I've heard some good feedback on them, and may be able to work out some really good pricing.

Yeap, UVL used to be URI back in the 90's and before.

I've only used one UVL bulb on my system when they first came out with the super actinic for T5's about 2 years ago or so. It burned out on me within a week. I'm not sure why and UVL didn't seem to care so I've avoided them since then just because of their indifference. I hear they are good bulbs though.

I used to run URI VHO's and I loved them.
