T5 HO Bulb Recommendations

Well, I decided to go with a four bulb T5 HO fixture, but now I need to decide which bulbs to get. I remember reading somewhere on here where some of you guys had said which bulbs brands and colors that you would recommend, but now I can't find it. Please let me know what color bulbs you would use and post pictures if possible.

I just put new bulbs in one of my lights. 4 bulb--
Front to back-- ATI bulbs:

Blue +
Purple +
Blue +
Aquablue

This web page has lots of useful info on T5 bulbs and he keeps it maintained as bulb manufacturers change their bulbs. He also gives recommendations for set ups depending if you want a clear tank or a more blue tank:

Everyone said 3:1 ati aqua blue to 12k for good coral growth - but if u are doing fish u can mix and match to see what looks the best- I just switch to the above ratio and its not to blue

Thanks! I remember reading your post, I just couldn't find it earlier. I'm really tempted to buy a few different bulbs and see what it all looks like. I'll take pictures and post what I find, though I don't know if the color difference will show up very well in a picture.

If u want I have 1 purple Giesm and one atinic giesm that I only ran a couple days and then 2 day bulbs and 2 blue by wavepoint (these are pretty used) but u can have them if u want to check some options out before u buy

Wow! That would be great! The Giesm bulbs were one's I was going to buy, and the wavepoint's would give quite a few more options. How much would you ask for them?

just come by norman, i live close to ou campus, and pick them up- the giesm are brand new but the wave points u prob wont wanna use for two long i used them for 9 months. rumore has it u can go about a year and i was only running 7-8 hrs a day so they can at least buy u some time so u can spread out ur cost, also give u idea of what colors u want
but any who they are totally free

blackers82, cjilge, and soonerpuffer have been really good to me on frags and info so i would love to pass the good reefing on
