T5 lamp PAR readings

from a website I just read "The Actinic blue is photosynthetically more efficient"

does this means better coral pigmentation from actinic bulbs? if yes then which t5 bulb is best to achieve better coral color?
did I understand that right?

I have a constellation 14x39w can you recommend a bulb combo that will best achieve coral color
thanks.

Sounds like marketing hype to me. Actinic lamps will make certain corals glow but don't do much for growth.

Well, My head is spinning. I'm new to T5.
I have a 20 Gallon temporary acrylic tank that I will be transferring my corals to.

I was trying to go by other recommendations but seem everyones taste is a little different.

I have HelloLights retro 4X 24W.
I would like for my orange montis and pink stuff to stand out the most.
I would like to order all the bulbs from one store if possible.. looks like TB aquatics has a bunch of the bulbs I see on this thread.
Ok... I thought this was the question answer thread... can't figure out how to delete this message.

OK, Here's the latest readings taken with the lamps running on a triad ballast. The numbers are only good for comparison here. Previous readings I took were with a different ballast and reflector so don't try to compare the two.

Hello Grimm ---

Thanks for taking the time to do the research.

I'm currently on the ReefGeek website and I don't see the Sun Pro T5 bulb by ATI. Could it be the Pro Color bulb? Is it under a different name or they don't carry this particular bulb. I noticed that you have Sun Pro listed under Aqua Z as well. Could it be the Sun Pro bulb is made by Aqua Z and not ATI?
Please let me know.

Thanks ---
Chris

The fiji purple has good PAR. Not sure how it really compares to Aquablue because of the difference in the way the PAR meter reads red and blue spectrum
