T5 lighting on my 90gal

I am not familiar with this particular model (looks like it's new), but ATI's light fixtures are top notch, and even though Tek fixtures are good, I'd go with an ATI over a Tek if you don't mind the extra $ the ATIs usually go for.
 
+2 with qfrisco. Again its based on if you have the money. If not Tek's aren't bad at all. I run one on my frag tank 4x54 with super atinics since it gives off similar to radiums 20k. Nice fixture and love the hanging kits.
 
Tek is a good choice esp if you don't have an endless fund... Supposedly SLS is unveiling the Tek's with active cooling at MACNA this year but unsure of how long it will take them to hit the market.. If you want better than Tek but not as ex$pensive as ATI look at the Constellations by Aquactinics. Or heck save the money and make a retro!!!
 
the ATI SunPower is the new T5 fixture from ATI. They are almost just as good as the PowerModule, and would be a great addition to the tank. I'd check with Grim on the T5 Q&A thread...he/they will have better info. The only light better in my opinion is the PowerModule...BUT the sunpower is much more cost effective. My next frag/grow out tank will have the sunpower. Id go with ATI over any other T5 brand in a heart beat...it's worth the extra cost for a much better light fixture.

Grim runs a Constellation... ;)
 
I don't know what grim runs...but I know he always says that the ATI PM is about the best on the market right now...

Actually I changed the Constellation out for the Sunpower. Hard decision, the Constellation has the extra lamp and 3 channels but the ATI was dead silent. For the price the Sunpower is probably the best deal in reef lighting right now.

That has no splash guards nor does it accept them... If you are not planning on hanging this fixture a fair distance from the tank you could end up with a short or worse.
