Just wanting to confirm with everyone that ordered, that pick up will be no problem Tuesday afternoon. Looks like the snow will be coming through Monday through Tuesday am.. The order will be shipped out Monday. I will pick up Tuesday morning.

Great. I am hoping everyone can be by before 6:30. I have 7:00 appointment I would like to be at if at all possible. I should be available for anyone wanting to pick up by 3.

Okay here is what I know. The order didn't ship out today. It will ship on Thursday and I will have it Friday for pick up late in afternoon through evening. I hope this will work for everyone.

Doug is not near a computer right now. Asked if I would let everyone know on this thread.

FedEx has dropped the ball! Doug has been trying very hard all day to get his hands on this case of fish and various other livestock. They will not be arriving today. Due to FedEx not getting them delivered to OKC, they're in Dallas.

I'm sure Doug will get on here and update everyone when he gets to a computer.

Our wonderful Fedex. Well they tell me weather related problems has delayed our box of fish. Tracking showed it in transit to OKC. I showed up at the airport Fedex thinking maybe it was there even though tracking showed it had not yet arrived. Come to find out it hadn't even left Dallas/FortWorth. Bottom line it won't be here today.. So been on the phone awhile getting our group order transferred to the I-35 location for hold so I can pick it up there in the morning. I have everyones phone # and will call you when I know something. I am told it should be at this hold center for pick up after 9am in the morning. Sorry everyone. Things happen....

What I am being told now from Fedex.. The box of fish is still stuck in Dallas this morning due to weather at least that is what they say. They can't tell me for sure if it will arrive by flight today. They tell me that if they are unable to ship to OKC by plane then it may have to come by truck. But they can't guarantee anything. So if I am learning one thing about Fedex it would be that you can't depend on what they tell you from one day to the next... I get a different story today than they gave me yesterday. So I will just wait around today to see if I get the call. Having to cancel plans this afternoon to see if the fish come in. This group buy left Thursday afternoon with a 40 hour heat pack, just do the math. Oxygen for the fish is the other major concern I would have at this point. Sorry everyone I will let you know as soon as I know something.

i have got the same song and dance from every shipping carrier out there. truthfully at this point i dont have a preference of one over the other, they have all dropped the ball for me several times. its a good thing that BlueZoo will credit us back, but its a terrible thing that living creatures may perish.

I was at Aquariums today. Leigh Ann was frustrated. She had a bunch of live rock come in at the airport via southwest, but all her fish came fedex and were stuck in DFW, no chance of getting here till Monday.

Frustrated I know how she feels. Just talked to Fedex and our fish are still in Texas.. Won't ship so it will be Monday. No way will we have live fish I would say..

Be sure to contact the shipper and ask them what to write on the shipping bills before you pick it up , so they have to cover the loses.

For everyone that has been so patient on this ordeal, I hope that the order is in tomorrow sometime. I will make the call in the morning or check tracking to see if it is at the I-35 location. Checking tracking tonight it shows to still be in Dallas. I was thinking when I pick up I will check to see if there is anything alive. And if not I will just take pics and send them on to Blue Zoos for them to cover our loses. No need in a pick up unless the snails and crabs make it. I do know they will refund us.
If they will do it I need to know if there is anyone that would like for them to re-send another order out with the same new fish.

I do agree though, that its a shame the animals may perish

not only to mention v-day weekend but just the amount of snow dallas got it gave there airport trouble to say the least!
winter time can be so unpredictable to ship anything live
