Tailspot blenny in trouble?

Hi guys! I just added a really small tailspot blenny to my tank - acclimating using drip method for about an hour.

Now he's sitting at the top of the tank, almost wrapped around the return nozzle...is this a clear sign of him dying? Take him out? Give him a couple of hours?

Thank you kindly!

It sounds like he's just a little stressed (Fairly common.) IMO, just give him time to settle down and feel comfortable. It could be a few hours, a few days, maybe longer, just depends. I had a fairy wrasse in my old tank that hid for about a week after I introduced him (Didn't see him at all.) Then one day he was out and about with all the other fish like he'd been there the whole time.

Thank you everyone! He's doing better now, still evaluating his new home but much better.

THey have a strong hiding instinct, and generally have trouble in a tank with insufficient film algae. They don't take well to fishfood. If you think he's clean and don't plan to medicate, he would appreciate a rock that's got film on it.
