Taking the Plunge

TMI!!!!

Now how would you spill it into that area? Surely you must be naked while doing this? :eek2:

Actually I was just sniffing the fumes and was overcome by the pleasant, aromatic, fragrant aromas of formaldehyde.. :eek2:

Did have my pants on, however. :D

I dunno i think that the formalin smell sticks on your clothes longer. One dissection in that and you can smell it all day! (the shark was especially bad! ) Maybe its been too long since I've worked on something preserved in formaldehyde but I don't remember the smell lingering so bad. Of course the not getting cancer from it thing might make up for the longevity :p.

Yeah... but Formaledhyde turns your fingers black if you touch it.

No, thank you! :D

You sure you're not talking about silver nitrate. I 've never gotten black fingers from formalin solution. Of course, if your fingers die from over exposure then I suppose it could happen. :D

Unfortunately my camera died... I took photos with a friend's camera, but haven't gotten a copy of the pics yet.

Me being a total herb... "think this one will fit in my 90 AGA?" :D

This was the best part... a giant gallery for viewing this huge pane of glass for the 6+ million gallon tank.

I'm going to have to try taking pictures again now that I have my new camera. Yours came out really good. Thanks for posting from your trip.

I see a lot of scratches on the acrylic tunnel. Sounds like someone's going to have to climb into some SCUBA gear and start polishing it out.
