talking about flow rates, anyone know a nice immersive flow meter?

I figure it would be nice to acutally look at live flow rates at various places in the tank.

Anyone know of a nice cheap mobile flow meter? I have found a few designed for enivromental use in streams. They tend to run about 1000$ with a 2" opening.

I suppose 2" is ok, but 1000$ is a little much.

Note, I am not looking for an inline meter, but something more like a probe.

IT would be nice to find one with out a propellar, like all the probe models I've seen.

I have found a number similar to that one, down to around 220$.

The only problem is that we need to measure down to about 3cm/sec with a good rate at 15cm/sec.

The best I have seen a prop driven flow meter is 50cm/sec (.05m/c)

Which means that the ideal current for feeding corals won't even show up on those things.

Unless I want to pay about 3.5 grand of course... then it will even make me julian fries...
