Tang and schooling fish options for 125?

Hello,
Does anyone have a list of tangs that could go into a 125 I am trying to plan out?
Looking to put either 1 or 3 tangs into this tank and a simple school of fish.
Ideas for a school or fish in a 125?

Check out Tomini or kole tangs. Fish don't really school in our tank but you could look at anthias or cardinals

+1 fish school for protection so unless your tank is huge with some aggressive tank mates don't expect anything that schools in the wild to do it in your tank. Any zebrasoma tang can live its lifetime in a 125g. Depending on your budget my suggestion is a black tang, purple, or there are occasionally aberrant yellow tangs available

Would a Naso tang be out of the question?

Naso isn't going to be happy in a 125 for very long, I'd avoid it.

Agree with the other chaps about 'schooling'. Some fish will hang out as a loose aggregation though - chalk basslets come to mind.

Got Purple/Black/Yellow Tang on the list as my options atm.

Yeah, they're increasingly on my 'no fly' list. Tendency for uronema (which you REALY don't want in your tank) and for winnowing themselves down to just one - or two, if you're lucky!

Chalk bass will shoal, which means they kind of stick together but don't school too much.
