Tang garden

I've recently moved most everything out of one tank to another leaving only the dsb and some rubble behind. I would like to turn this into a garden of sorts to grow out goodies for my tangs. what would be some good choices to start out with, what kind of lights and what do you feed them? Thanks for any suggestions, Pamela

Thanks for the heads up! I've been checking out the suppliers but many of them only give you a name of the plant and not what its used for. I'm trying to find specific plants that yellow and atlantic blues prefer that can be raised in a tank.

Any fine branching type algeas should do such as gracilaria, agardhiella and the Caulerpa's. Generally high nutrient loads and lots of iron along with moderate to bright lighting will do well for growing these in culture.
