SDguy: this my tang about 6 inches! I just want to know what it is! I bought it as a black hybrid! I want to know if its true black, black hybrid , or scopas! I have a true black that's about the same size but its really black! This fish is not as black but looks just like my true black! Do you think it's a hybrid ? Just trying to find out what others think it is!

Looks to be a scopas but the nose of black... i would agree with auem that it may be a black-scopas hybrid

Very nice pic!! Yours look blacker than mine! I have a true black longnose also he is jet black with a tint of blue on the top! My new black hybrid is not very black but I only had him 2 days so he might get darker when he settles in! Thanks for the pic & the info

Most people can't tell he is a hybrid. He was lighter when i first got him too. Best personality ever. Nice and mellow.

My black hybrid has gotten darker now that he has settled in his new home! My true black tang is jet black! Other than color they look just alike and both the same size! Both of mine are mellow & laid back!
