Tang owner recommendations - seaweed feeding schedule

Would like to hear from other tang owners on frequency, type, and how they feed their tangs seawood, garlic yes or no? Just would like some discussion on what has been successful for others.

For reference we currently have:

2 blue hippos
1 convict
1 brown tang
1 sailfin tang
1 purple tang
1 yellow tang
1 black tang (just added)

Thanks in advance for feedback

i usually feed 2x a day. 1st feeding is just nls pellets and the 2nd is frozen food consisting of mysis and mysis/spirulina mix. i also give them roughly 1/2 a sheet of nori every few days as well.
my purple tang had fairly noticeable hole in the head as an impact from the previous owner neglecting feeding. since it has recovered completely and i have continued the same feeding regimen since.

I feed a total of 4-6 times a day

First thing in the morning they get some new seaweed
A few hours later they get pellets from my auto feeder at 10 am
At about 2 in the afternoon I feed mysis shrimp and other frozen foods
At 4 in the afternoon they get another piece of seaweed
At 7 they get more pellets from my auto feeder
And occasionally I will feed mysis again at around 9 before the lights go off

All my foods are soaked in vitamins apart from those dispensed by the auto feeder and I currently have no major nutrient issues as I carbon dose and have a big skimmer and my nitrates tend to stay around 1-2ppm.

I do this every day although I don't feed frozen on Mondays but they get the seaweed and the pellets, I also feed in small quantities but frequently with four hours being the most I go between feedings but it's generally around 2-3. I feel this is my key to success because all the time in the ocean tangs are foraging for things to eat, so if we give them small but frequent feedings we are almost replicating their natural feedings as a pose to putting 5 sheets of seaweed on a clip and 8 cubes of mysis every two days.

Green and purple sea veggies everytime I see the clips empty. Twice a day minimum, I don't soak the nori in anything. Selcon would be most beneficial to soak nori in, never garlic... causes liver problems in fish long term

What type of vitamins?

For grazing, the Innovative Marine nori holders work well to keep it where you place it and allow for all day grazing. For that many tangs, you'd probably want multiples. I always liked mixing up the colors- green, brown, purple. Fish seemed to have preferences. Don't soak the sheets- my fish didn't seem to like the pre-soaked stuff.

What did you soak it in?

I put 2 pieces of Ocean Nutrition seaweed in the tank (1 purple, 1 green) each day. The pieces are about 3 x 3. I don't soak mines neither, as they already have garlic. Some hobbyists soak theirs in vitamins and garlic.

Ocean nutrition garlic is trace amounts likely 1 drop per full sheet of seaweed.

Exactly as giving fish garlic constantly is not healthy for the fish. It cause liver damage. I only soak food once a week.
Yep, which is why I only soak food in selcon and vitamins, I only soak in garlic if I'm trying to coax a fish to eat in qt if it's not eating already.
