I have a 700ish display tank with 25 fish. Want to finish it out with tangs. My concern is that it's recommended to add all tangs together and they need lots of space, but my quarantine aquarium is only 100 gallons.
How many tangs can I put in the 700? I was hoping for a lot....5 yellow tangs, cole yellow eye, powder blue, powder brown, naso, whitecheek, orange shoulder, clown. I have 2 small hippos already. (Do I definitely not want any of these? I don't NEED any particular one. They are just what's available from live aquaria. I don't want to get from my LFS again. They don't have a warranty and we've had lots of bad advice from them causing issues.)
Now, is it okay to have all the tangs in quarantine in 100 gallons for a month? It's way smaller than what's reccomended, but obviously they aren't going to grow in there. Or is it safer to quarantine them in 2 batches and not introduce them all to the display tank at once.
Help please!
