Well my new system is up and going and I need to start parting out and breaking down the old one.
As the system still needs to sustain the livestock, things need to go in the proper order. I will post some pictures tonight, but if you are particularly interested in something, let me know and I will get those up first.
1) Diamond Goby - about 4 inches long $10
2) Huge long spine urchin - 10" across - $40
3) Rock with GSP and yellow polyps $10
4) Huge piece of LR with kenya tree coral and fiji yellow leather. A couple tips of SPS might be on there, too. It's difficult to weight, but this one piece is probably at least 50-60 lbs. $200
5) Live sand (and whatever critters/snails that are in it) 100 lbs - 2 years old in this tank, mix of 80% Carib-Sea special grade and 20% oolite. $1 per lb in small quantities, will negotiate in larger quantities. I've got some rubble and other stuff from my fuge too that you can pick through as well.
6) 90 gal AGA reef ready tank, black pine stand with nickel handles, black pine canopy, 30 gal AGA DIY sump and refugium, 2 power strips mounted inside stand. $350 for the whole set-up.
7) Aquactinics Constellation 7x54w T5 Fixture with bulbs and tank brackets and risers. Great fixture, has individual parabolic reflectors for each bulb. Bulb configuration is 4 ATI Blue +, 2 ATI Aquablue Special, and 1 ProColor. Bulbs and fixture are 4-5 months old. Paid $900 recently for the whole set-up, $600.
8) Bubble King Mini 160 skimmer. (Small footprint, fits perfectly in my DIY sump). The best compact skimmer in the world. If you never seen a BK skimmer in person, come and see it. 4-5 months old. Paid $900, $650 firm.
9) Rio Hyperflow 26 pump. 1590gph. 4-5 months old. Rio pumps have typically been noisy, but they have incredible flow rates, power consumption, and low heat comparted to most submersibles, especially for the money. $40
10) Pinpoint Ph Monitor - Works great, can provide you with calibration fluid too. Plastic guards one the probe have broke off, although they don't affect function. $50
I may uncover more items as I consolidate, so I will add them as I go. Also feel free to check out my new tank and set-up as well - I'd be happy to trade some corals or accept them instead of cash for any of my items.
Thanks!
