Tank Paint?

I'm wanting to have a black background for my tank, and so I was thinking of painting the back. I know for inside stuff the krylon spraypaint is ok, but it's a big tank and using that for the whole back can get expensive/time consuming. Any alternatives for painting the back outside glass?
