First let's get the terminology correct.
Tank raised(TR): This is where larval or small juvenile fish are collected in the wild and then raised in a captive environment, aka a tank. I highly doubt there are any tank raised clownfish in the world.
Captive Bred (CB): This is where the fish are spawned, hatched and reared all in a captive system. This is what most people mean when they say "tank raised or bred".
BTW, these are not my definitions, they are legal definitions for trade.
CB clownfish have a built-in instinct for hosting, even after many many generations, they know where to live. Don't buy into that wives tale that CB clown will not host, pure BS is all that is.
