Tank Transfer Methood question

Hey I've been reading up on TTM and some places and I'm confused.

Do you do your transfers ever other day or every 3rd day?

Where is a good article or post explaining how to carry out TTM because I have yet to find one?

Here's the timeline:

Day 1: Transfer to Tank #1
Day 4: Transfer to Tank #2
Day 7: Transfer to Tank #1
Day 10: Transfer to Tank #2
Day 13: Transfer to QT for observation

The key is ensure that no more than 72 hours have elapsed between transfers. Less than 72 hours is OK.

Oh, and make sure all equipment is sterilized and dried for at least 24 hours before the next transfer. I typically give the equipment a 24 hour soak in bleach (aquarium just gets a wipe-down with bleach, then rinse and towel dry), then let it air dry for a day. Being in Texas ensures lots of hot sunny days to speed along the drying process.

All the fish except the clown died while doing TTM. One fish the day after then next. Hopefully the clown pulls through. In the last few months I've lost ~$200 on the tank from fish and inverts.

This hobby is really sucking right now for me.

So sorry to hear.

I lost two tangs during ttm, but all other fish are great. Doing second batch starting tonight.

No, I rinse with vinegar water mix and then insure they are totally dry.
