Tat's Grand Opening

Just wanted to give club members a heads up on Tat's new store in Thousand Oaks. Its called Tat Tropical Illusions and its been moved to 1446 Moorpark Rd. Its going to have a grand opening at the end of this month( I'll let you know as soon as I hear a date) or you can call 805-495-3220 . Walt Smith will be there that day and he will be supplying some of his best corals for the event ( at wholesale prices). Also Tat will be giving away free Ocean Pure salt and Seio's with a purchase. The store has been stocking up for this event and they will have some really rare and amazing corals.

i was in the store over the weekend. it's a beautiful store the way they set it up. soooo many nice corals and fish... it took some serious self-control not to max out my credit card :lol:
looking forward to Walt Smith visiting- that is really cool.

It looks like the date for the Grand Opening party will be August 6th. They have the largest selection of acanthastreas I have ever seen or heard of. I also heard that they just got in an amazing varity of rare wrasses ( run Scott F. , run). Hey Scott B. I heard you just got a red carpet anemone from there, how is it doing?

it is doing good so far the wrasses they have are amazing ,,,,, cant belive the critters he is getting in the store alot of hard to find things

I'm sure it would be better to call, but since i've been following this thread, and it sounds like you frequent this store, i thought i might be able to ask you guys...

if i drive up from LV for the grand opening, would the owners allow me to purchase stuff on Saturday, and hold it for me until i head back to vegas on sunday?

I was there last night and they have the most amazing blastos ( atleast 40 pieces), acans ,echino's and 8 different colors of gonipora. Some of these colors I've never seen before. They also have really unique fish, really cool colored gobies, anthias and gorgous wrasses = 2 radiant wrasses.
