Jeff is one smart guy. Kills off the competition at the auctions.

If you want to have some fun, ask him about changing out his RO/DI filters. I now know his secret to an awesome tank.

Looking good

Did you use anything like Microbacter7 or other "bacteria in a bottle" to help the cycling process along?

I really like the overall setup, scaping and plumbing, very similar to what I want to do when I upgrade from the 46bow.

I purchased the 2 liter bottle of Microbacter7 from club reef and have been dosing it for the past 7 days. I am on day 21 of the cycle. I plane on waiting a minimum of 45 days before adding any livestock.

I will be selling off allot of stuff (equipment, fish, corals, and the tank itself) from my old system in three weeks.

let me know what youll be getting rid of mark, today marks tear down of the 90 in my basement. everythings goin in that 40b while i rebuild the 90 with a second return pipe, close loop, better drain and sump design all new sand and rock. may wanna pick some things up from ya

Moving right along Mark

Great job with the screen. Is the material from bulk reef supply? I assume the screen is sitting on the plastic tank trim? I'm jealous DSA has this natural screen area that holds the screen down below the rim of the tank. My screen is sitting on top of my rimless tank, as I desperately look for something to recess it below the top of the glass.

Do you have a stocking list yet?

Let me know when you're ready to sell the old tank, I need something for our Scottsdale office...........

Thanks Scott and Phil!

No stocking list yet. I'm still focusing on setting this beast up.

I will be selling the tank, stand, refugium and skimmer. At the same time I'll need to find homes for a few fish, coral and live rock. I will let you know first when its ready to go.

It's an 87 gallon rimless Leemar. Manufacture date of 09/12. Eshopps R-200 refugium and that Aquamaxx Cone 2 skimmer I just purchased.

Just Added door handles to the stand. Much easier to open the doors now.
