I've been working hard to take better pictures. The dedicated picture computer is updating AS i TYPE...till later this week here is a teaser picture of my new desktop (Using MS paint to resize :rollface::

Thanks - It's one of my favorites. The other Ducans are green throughout - these have blue with transitioning tips - and ARC score took a while to get the colors sorted out - those ReefBrites really throw the camera a curve ball.

p.s. I was able to finally get the DVD bootable, it took a lot of research, program installing, file creating, and my favorite… using imgburn software but the computer is doing a clean install as I type, woot woot! If you or anyone reading this want the info, I got it, pm me!

You're shooting with the d3100, right? Have you been able to set the white balance for tank pics, or do post process white balance?

Yes, I'm shooting with a D3100 with a Tamron 90mm Macro lens. From reading it appears that 10K is about as far as the camera can balance on its own. I'm balancing using Nikon Capture NX2 (RAW NEF Format) and touching up yellow in photoshop.

I was just looking through some shots from yesterday and the colors still need some tuning, need to have the wife help though, I'm not that good with colors

Some shots with the lookdown box under T5 lighting, very little adjusting to the pictures. The lookdown box is a whole other world of settings - all manual for the first time!
