Teflon tape instead of O-Ring on RO unit?

I am replacing my RO membrane for the first time on my Spectrapure 90 gpd refurb. Upon putting the unit back together I realized I didn't have any o rings. I'm not sure if mine just did come with any or I lost two but I'm guessing the first? Either way could I just use teflon tape instead?

A phone call will be your best friend.
I would not use tape

You had to have had o-rings in there. The cannisters would have leaked like crazy without them. You could have 50-60 psi in them depending on the tap pressure. Definitely get new o-rings. Teflon take is not the answer.
