Tell me this is not ich!

I noticed this white patches on my big clown today... She has been very healthy and the most dominant fish in my tank. I don't think any fish is bullying her... and lots of image searches on ich shows white dots/spots (not such bigger patches). The patches are on both sides...

I don't have a quarantine, so pls advise any alternate ways to treat. Thanks (fingers crossed)

IME brook can present this way. How long have you had the fish and has anything been added to your tank recently?

you need to acquire yourself one, there is no way to treat this and it also be reef safe. Most anything labeled as a "reef safe" medication doesn't work period

Tank is 4 months and clown has been in for 3 months with 3 other fish. Last fish was a diamond goby added 3 weeks ago. All fish were QT'd for 3 weeks in the LFS before I bought them.

LFS do not quarantine fish. The longer a fish is at the LFS, the greater the chance of it contracting a parasite.

This LFS I go to has a dedicated huge tank for QT. I've literally seen my fish sitting in the QT (back-store) and then moved to their storefront holding display tanks.

Also their display tanks they run light copper...

Which then exposes them to any parasite in the display holding tanks

which is the worst possible scenario as non-therapeutic dosing copper will mask parasites such as ich, velvet, brook

Light copper in the display tanks is usually to hide an issue they know they have. It can mask problems with the fish that then appear when the fish are out of that system.

"Light copper" masks some infections. This is likely what has happened to you.
