Tempramental False Perc NOT eating...

Greetings All- My girlfriend received a pair of false percs from NY Aquatic on Thursday and the clowns arrived safely and were acclimated without any issues.

My girlfriend fed the clowns and only one is eatting. she does not believe the 'other' clown has eaten since it arrived. she feeds frozen brine shrimp that is defrosted before being put into the tank. she contacted ny aquatic and the guy suggested mysis, selcon, and garlic extreme. my girlfriend soaked some of brine in garlic extreme and no response from the non-eating perc. she also feeds tropical flake food.

are there any other 'treats' to give the clown(s) to get some nutrition in them!??

Thanks!!

You might want to try Prawn Roe from Nutrimar. This is a very rich food that is also small in size. I feed it to baby clowns and finicky eaters.

any kind of roe would work. I feed my fish masago - flying fish roe used in sushi. Fish love it, but don't exclusively feed this as eventually (years) it can lead to fatty liver disease. Even still, it's highly nutritious, and very tasty for picky fish.

thanks. my girlfriend took some pictures of the fish last night and spotted some 'white poo'; so we're treating with parasite clear which as praziquantel as a main ingredient.
