First of all, we must say what a honor it is for us to have met so many generous and fantastic "reefers" over the years.

Please forgive the following "Emmy" speech......

We are humbled by the reefing community's generosity this year for our All Children's Hospital Fundraiser. A total of $4010 was earned for this year's prizes.

We could not have done this without the wonderful prizes donated by our sponsors and several of you in the TBRC community.

Very special thanks goes out to the TBRC and it's board. The BBQ was awesome.

Thank you Russ and Chris for the fantastic eats and Sue for all the hard work you did to put it together. Thanks Joseph for lending your expertise for the taste test.

A very special thank you to Gulf Animal Hospital and Toni G.... you know why.

Last, but not least, to our staff. Thank you would be an understatement. You have really worked your tails off these last several week in preparing for the event. We really appreciate that we can count on all of you. You did a great job today. (BTW-the sign made it all the way home :lmao:)

Many winners have already been contacted but we will finish making calls on Sunday as it is getting late.

Thank you with all our hearts.......

John and Jennifer Reiter

I just gotta say...

Seems this is the time of year that every business, small and large are collecting for someone or something. Chili's puts peppers on the wall, the DQ, pizza hut, all hang things on the wall, Starbucks has empty 5 gallon water jugs on the counter and the firemen all stand in traffic with their boot.

But I must say, that I have never been to, seen or even HEARD of a fundraiser that is as much fun and entertaining as these events. I may be biased cause I love the ribs, the "beverages" the fish... But watching the interactions of people, their expressions, their conversations, I really think I can speak for everyone who attended when I say... This was FUN!

Awesome that it helps out such an awesome hospital! Awesome that a much bigger picture is the reason for this event. The whole day was just...awesome.

So John, Jennifer, Rob, Ryan, Chris, Ryan and Chris...

Thank YOU guys for being the heartbeat behind such an awesome day!

Terry

Thanks again for everyone's support with this.

Awesome!! I got a Picasso clown and a S'more clown along with a Tunze 6045 for my new 30 cube!!!! Have to do some reading on the S'more, don't know much about him. I know the Picasso is gonna look sweet in the cube. Hopefully I can pair him up with another true perc.

Thanks again for the great event, I'll be there next year(hopefully with my tongs in hand) :spin1:
