That Fish Place/NCPARS Winter Event

Thanks to That Fish Place for hosting a great event, for arranging for the speakers and the awesome raffle items, for paying for the pizza and for the awesome deals throughout the store. I really saved on salt for the buy 3 get 1 free deal. Thanks to Instant Ocean for the free sample packs of gel food. It was nice meeting everyone at the registration table and we have over 90 members now! That's a new record! We raised money for our school tank programs - if you are interested in starting one at your school, contact Larry Flint from NCPARS. I'm working on the attendance numbers now. See you at the next swap!

Here's a few pics from the swap.

Yeah and also thanks to Jason Fox for selling me a killer RHS Blueberry Acro :)

It was a awesome swap and already looking forward to next year.

+1 on that Dan. That tank was sweet. I Think if i would have dropped $20 more in that it would have been on the back of the truck heading home with me. This swap was awesome! Alot of killer corals all over the place. There was a selection there that rivaled the LE stuff on Divers Den and 1/3 the price. Im already stoked about the next NCPARS/TFP event.
Big thanks to all the people behind the scenes that got this rolling. I know we had of a rocky start early but once we got on the same page we got that big rolling smooth. Every event is a learning process for us and every event we come up with new ways to make the next bigger, better and badder. Hopefully we can get the new ideas implemented at williamsport and keep this awesome membership growth going and see if we can hit the 150 mark by the end of the year.

ditto. It was nice meeting you dan and thanks for the great corals. This was my first swap and it was great. I will definitely try to make it to the next one. Thanks again to all of the people who made this event happen.

Thanks for the invite. It was a great event with some great people. I got to quite a few of these all over the country for work, and this one was right up there with the best of them.It was my pleasure to donate the cube set up for the raffle, and to meet quite a few of you. The selection of corals was just amazing!

A special thanks to Dave, Stacy, Rick, Alicia, Scott, and all the staff at That Fish Place for hosting this event. I know the weeks of hard work they put in to this event, and it was nice to see that almost everybody was buying stuff from the store, as well as from the swappers.

Kind regards,

Tony

Thanks to NCPARS and TFP for a great event. It was definitely better than last year, with the vendors being out of the swap area. I offer one bit of advice to those that had all their frags pre-bagged; I like to see frags in a tank with lighting. I did not buy anyone's frags that were pre-bagged. Maybe that's just me (or maybe not).
Since I live only fifteen minutes away, I really look forward to your event. Thanks to all for a great time!:bounce2:

I agree... seeing the frags under lighting does help win my money over... unless they were on fragswapper.

...im sure most had stuff pre-bagged because of requesting stuff on fragswapper. Seems to make stuff easier if you dont have to set up a tank, and you can sell some serious stuff.
Those ladies from N.C. looked like they mopped up.

Im going to johns house and steal his Strawberry shortcake, If I only had $90 earlier..... Tran sucked the other one up fast too.. I will be expecting a free frag at the next swap :)

I have mixed feelings about this. As a vendor and a swapper, i kinda missed being in the main room, but I'm guessing most of the vendors liked being out on the main floor.
