That Fish Place/NCPARS Winter Event

I'm not coordinating this swap so I can't say for certain but typically the raffle items are setup where you buy tickets and place them in the cups of the prizes you want so you can buy in for only items you want and better your odds. Typically there are 2 levels of tickets based on price and prize value.

And there's usually this annoying little boy who follows you around and bugs you to buy more...just kidding Brett.
 
The speakers are scheduled for 12:00 and 1:00, this will give both Chris and Ike plenty of time to do their presentations, and answer any questions that people may have.

12:00 Chris Brightwell (Brightwell Aquatics): Phosphate Control in the Marine Aquarium

1:00 Ike Eigenbrode (Ecoxotic): LED lighting Technology

Hey,That annoying little boy is our best ticket seller ncpars has ever saw.Well his sister is no slouch either,lol
 
is it free to sell frags?

wow! im really getting excited now. that may corals in such a small area means some is getting a deal. raffles look great too. never been to a swap with this many people.

so the speakers will have there own room and the swap will be in the fish room?
 
WOw, I can't believe I'm just catchin wind of this event now. However, in a way I'm glad I found out about it so late. The anticipation of waiting just a few days instead of a few months is nice :lmao: This will be my first ever frag swap, and by the sounds of it, I picked the right one to go to.. Infact I'll probably get my admittance tickets for two tonight... Lookin forward to seein you guys there :beer:

Its gonna be great. This will be my second one. I was hooked on the first swap and have been patiently waiting for this one. Its torture..

As long as you're not a vendor then it's "Free" so long as you have paid your entry fee like everybody else. :) You can also list things in advance at FragSwapper.com as well as request items in advanced so they are held for you. That's all free too. It is especially useful for those more rarer items or people like me that won't be there until the end!
 
Just a small update for all the NCPARS members, don't forget to pick up your membership cards at the registration table. They all have been completed as of yesterday for all current and recently renewed members and are ready for you to pick up.

I've never been to an event like this, so each of you will have some kind of booth? and how are payments, cash only?

The swappers will have a table with there tank set up or a cooler box with there corals.I dont think anyone will be taking credit cards so i guess cash only would be correct

just fraged a few rommel watermellon acros, only a few will be aval. skittles granulosa and some ausie loripies also. very limited, on some goodies.
